Be Part of The Reunion for $500

No article on what WSOP events to play this year would be complete without mentioning Event #4: $500 The Reunion. This tournament comes with a whopping $5,000,000 guarantee, and is tipped to be one of the largest tournaments at the Series.

With just a $500 buy-in, the tournament is the star of the opening weekend of the WSOP 2021. Players will receive 50,000 chips and are allowed one re-entry per flight with late registration open for ten 30-minute levels.

These increase to 40-minute levels from Day 2 onwards in this five-day tournament.

Get Your WSOP Deepstack Four-Card Fix

If you’re more interested in Omaha poker then this is the event for you. The first three-figure Omaha event of the WSOP 2021 is Event #24: $600 8-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack.

The two-day event sees players receive 30,000 chips and play 30-minute levels. Players are allowed one re-entry, with late registration open for 12 levels.

How Big Will The Colossus Be This Year?

Ever since The Colossus burst onto the WSOP scene in 2015, it has been one of the biggest tournaments of the year. In 2015, Lance Garcia won what was poker’s largest-ever event, and although the field has shrunk since then, this year’s event will surely attract a crowd.

Event #55: $400 Colossus gets underway on Friday, 29th October with the first of two flights. Players are allowed one re-entry per flight, with 12 levels of late registration. Each flight plays down to the money, with the levels 40 minutes long throughout the tournament.

Enter the WSOP 2021 Deepstack Championship for $600

Who said Championship events need to be $10,000? Why, you can enter Event #61: $600 NLHE Deepstack Championship for a fraction of that!

With 30,000 starting chips, this tournament has 40-minute levels on Day 1 and 60-minute levels from Day 2 onwards. Players are allowed one re-entry, with nine levels of late registration.

Raise Money for Charity at the WSOP with the Salute to Warriors

Returning to the WSOP schedule for 2021 is the Salute to Warriors. Susan Faber triumphed in 2019 over a field of 1,723 last year and this year’s Event #63: $500 Salute to Warriors promises to be just as exciting.

WSOP 2021 Satellites

There will be plenty of live satellites at this year’s World Series of Poker. This will enable people to qualify for many WSOP tournaments for less, including the WSOP Main Event.
